Stop motion (do inglês que significa movimento parado) é uma técnica de animação fotograma a fotograma com recurso a uma máquina de filmar/máquina fotográfica e a um simples computador.<br /><br />Os modelos são movimentados e fotografados frame a frame. Estes frames são posteriormente editados em vídeo, criando a impressão de movimento.
